TASTING NOTES
-
THE NOSE
Salinity and chalk are the primary markers on the nose. The subtle, refined aroma opens with elegantly balsamic notes and scents of candied fruits. Bergamot and red citrus, the terroir’s signature, make their entrance along with tea, hawthorn, and almond tree. The influence of oak aging remains discreet, allowing purity to fully express itself.

PALATE
The wine reveals unparalleled originality within the Landréat range. The velvety, rich texture carries the signature of the barrel, with lovely tannins arriving mid-palate. Salinity guides the palate while candied citrus sets the tone. The sublime finish, of remarkable length, offers a register that is both saline and spicy, particularly expressive, featuring linseed oil, vanilla, coconut, clove… and truffle!
